What is the proper way to cut a flower and why is it important?

  2. The proper way to cut a flower is at angel, it is important because when cut at an angel the flower is able to last longer. When flower is not cut at a proper angel it may die faster.

  4. The proper way to cut a flowers is cutting at a slant tend 45 degrees angle. This will prevent the flowers from getting any damage on it's stem and will expand the vase life.

  5. The proper way to cut a stem is at a 40 degree angle. this being because to allow the water tube to properly absorb water and nutrients.

  6. It needs to be cut at a 45 degree angle in a nice clean cut so it can properly take in water. You pull the knife toward you, don't pull at the flower.

  8. The proper way to cut flowers is grabbing the stem of the flower and with a floral knife cut the stem at a angle degree pulling the knife toward you do not move your thumb or you'll get cut and it is important to cut it this way because the flower will live longer.

  9. The proper way to cut a flower is to place your floral knife at a 45° angle. Then pull the knife towards you NOT the stem away from you. Doing this the correct way is important because you dont want to damage the stem therefore causing a lower vase life for the flower itself.

  17. The right way to cut a flower is at a angle away from your body and your thumb on te opposite side of the stem for safety. so if you cute the flower the wrong why you could really damage the stem and that will stop the flower from taking in water. Zuri Singleton

  18. The right way to cut a flower is to hold the floral knife at an angle. Also when holding the floral knife, it needs to be on the opposite side of the stem from your thumb. No pressure if involved, you just move your risk a little and it should easily go through. Amber Jones Period 5
